Your itinerary for PADI Open water course in Bali

Day 1 Pick up at your hotel lobby at 09.00, drive to swimming pool at our Operation center for the confined water session. In this confined water seasson we will practice some skills to make you confortable in the water.Return to your hotel at 15.00.
Day 2

Early pick up at your hotel lobby, at 07.30, drive to Tulamben. The journey will take approximately 2.5 hours drive, please bring your camera along, as we will travel through Bali’s beautiful country side, including many villages, rice terraces, magnificent coastline and of course the highest volcano in Bali, Mount Agung !

Arrive at Tulamben at 10.30, there is time to relax, order yourself a cup of coffee or tea while your PRO DIVE Instructor organize the dive equipment, porter and your accommodation.

In this dive, you will practising the Rescue skill that we've learn at the swimming pool, which is .

  • Self rescue, diver stress and managing diver stress
  • First aid equipment and first aid procedures
  • Emergency management and equipment considerations
  • Swimming and non swimming assists
  • Under water problems
  • Panic diver response
  • Missing diver procedures
  • Surfacing the unconscious diver
  • In-water artificial respiration
  • First aid procedures for pressure-related accidents

We will stay overnight at our accommodation inTulamben.

Optional activities you can do in Tulamben:
- Pamper your self with a traditional Balinese massage after the dive, Wow...
- Cruising or fishing in a traditional Balinese outrigger boat,
- Trekking and explore the Tulamben area, see the country side of Bali.

Day 3

Today, we practicing 2 Diving accident scenarios.

Both of the dive scenarios will be a shore dive, meaning, you start from the beach and walk into the water.

Have shower, pack your bags, meet your PRO DIVE Instructor at the restaurant, fill up your log book and the paper work. Hey…. Congratulation!!! You are a PADI Open water diver now.

Leave Tulamben at 13.00, arrive in Kuta approximately at 16.00, still, there is beach time for you.

What do I need to start?

Certified as a an Advanced diver, virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit. . Minimum 10 years of age for Junior Rescue Diver and 15 years for Rescue Diver and have a couple of photo’s taken for your C-card, but this can be arrange at PRO DIVE Bali.

How long will the PADI Rescue diver course take?
Our programs are performance based. You proceed as you demonstrate your development of the rescue skills – this allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you. Typically the program will take 3 to 4 days.

If you only by yourself, the cost will be the same, US$ 330 per person. We don’t charge any extra or single supplement even you are by yourself, as along as in this offer, the PADI Rescue course starts every Monday and Thursday.
Once you’ve made your booking, we will email you the passkey of your digital open water manual for your online study.

How many PADI Rescue diver students in our group?
We limit our PADI Rescue divers students by 4 students per 1 PADI Instructor. Therefore, the instructor can be more focus with your progress. Don’t forget to ask questions.

I want to have my picture taken during my open water dive, do you have underwater camera for hire?
We have underwater camera and the cost is IDR 300.000 / day.

I do have my own underwater camera, can I bring it with me ?
Certainly you can.
