With its tropical climate, Bali offers spectacular scuba diving and snorkeling, often only meters from the beach.
Bali is also home to a wide variety of large pelagic, such as tuna, barracuda, shark, manta and, in season (aug-Oct), Mola-Mola (sunfish) due to the rich upwelling of the Indian Ocean.
There are wrecks at Tulamben (WWII USAT Liberty) and Menjangan (a cargo ship sunk in 19th century), wall diving (Menjangan, Nusa Penida), Tepekong's Canyon.
Mucks diving for small and unique marine creatures and macro photography at secret bay and reef diving are plentiful!
