Bali is one of Indonesia's island provinces, located in the lesser Sundas, midway along Indonesia's southernmost chain of islands between Java and Lombok.

With its tropical climate, and location at the center of the Indo - Pacific Biosphere, Bali offers spectacular scuba diving and snorkeling, often only meters from the beach.
Bali is home to a wide variety of large pelagic, such as tuna, barracuda, shark and manta. From aug-oct, Mola-Mola (sunfish) can be found largely due to the rich upwelling of the Indian Ocean.

There are wrecks, namely the WWII USAT Liberty at Tulamben and a slave ship sunk in
the 19th century at Menjangan, wall diving, (Menjangan, Nusa Penida) and Tepekong's Canyon. Bali's oceans also offer mucks diving for small and unique marine creatures and macro photography at Secret Bay, PJ or Seraya point. Reef diving is plentiful!

In Bali, there is always something to do or see during your surface intervals. Get out amongst the people, enjoy their friendly personas and experience their unique culture. Take in the hillside rice paddies, lakes, 3,000- meter holy mountains, walk through a village or dense tropical jungles; just some of the activities you can undertake. See the wild monkeys, old lava flows or dry, desert- like landscapes.

Bali is also a playground for adventure, not just diving. You can go surfing and sky diving, as well as trekking or bungy jumping, ride horses or elephants, try white water rafting and much, much more. Alternatively you can have a quiet vacation by the sea, romantic dining, shopping or enjoy the nightlife of Kuta.

This 'Beautiful Bali in one Week' holiday itinerary is designed to avoid long road travel, hence you have more time to relax or explore the area near the dive site.

Day One - Arrival:
After arriving at Bali's airport, a PRO DIVE Bali bus will pick you up and transfer to a Dewi Sri Hotel inKuta. Unpack, relax, have a massage or swim at your hotel pool or the famous Kuta beach.

Day Two - Land-Tour:
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. PRO DIVE Bali bus will pick you up at 9am; our departure time for a full-day land tour to either:

Batubulan Village meaning 'moon stone' is known for Stone carvings. You will see hundreds of statues beside the road and are welcome to watch the workers, some as young as 12 years old, chipping away at a big block of volcanic stone. Batubulan also specializes in barong dance performances. Shows usually start at 09.30 and last for an hour or so. The dance symbolizes the never ending battle between good and evil.

Celuk is home of silver and gold artisans. Huge stores house a wide variety of intricately designed pieces. The silver filigree work is amazing.

Mas means gold, and the town is renowned as the home of skilled wood carvers. Mas offers a myriad of wooden items. Mas's main road is solidly lined with craft shops and you are welcome to drop in and see the carvers at work.

Goa Gajah, the elephant cave is carved into a rock face, reached by a flight of steps and the home to a sacred hindu temple. The temple dates back to the 9-12 century and shows the elements of both Hindu and Buddhist use. In the front of the cave are two bathing pools with spring water gushing from spouts held by female figures.You can enter the cave through a huge mouth of a demon.

Kintamani offers superb views of Gunung Batur from its peak to the lake at the bottom of the crater. We will have our lunch at the local restaurant while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Mount Batur.

Sebatu Temple, the holy spring water temple, was founded in 962. The springs are sourced from the Pekerisan river. The temple holds great mportance to the local people as the spring waters are believed to have magical powers. The spring water bubbles up into a large crystal clear waterspout and into a bathing pool.

Tegalalang is a village with a fantastic view of rice terraces.

Ubud is recognized as the cultural center of bali. It is where the image of bali as a land of artists was created. A former principality, it has several palaces and Brahmin mansions, as well as beautiful houses built in the Gianyar architectural style. The modern art movement began here, when artists first began to abandon purely religious and court scenes for scenes of everyday life. Ubud is home to many respected local and western artists.

Return to your hotel around 4:00 pm.

Day Four - Diving Padang bai:
The restaurant opens at 07.00. Enjoy one of the best times of the day over delecious breakfast, coffee or tea. Prepare to check out and leave Tulamben at 8:30am for diving at Padang Bai. The journey takes around one hour and we will travel through Bali’s beautiful east coast country side seeing many villages, rice terraces and magnificent coastline and of course the highest volcano in Bali , Mount Agung !

Arriving at Padang Bai, relax at a beachfront café and enjoy a drink while your PRO DIVE Divemaster loads the dive gear to Explorer II, our specially designed diving boat.
The dive sites can vary and depend on sea & weather conditions.

Your first dive will be at Blue Lagoon. Blue Lagoon is a small bay with steep, white sand just north of Padang Bai. The structure of the reef is relatively unexciting, with a white sandy floor gradually sloping to 22 m and a short section of wall however, the fish life is amazing. You will see interesting smaller animals such as nudibranch, shrimp, crabs, squid and octopus.

Water conditions at Blue Lagoon are not generally a problem. There is sometimes a little surge and a mild current however the bay is fairly protected which makes the diving very easy and relaxing.
Surface interval followed with a 5 min boat ride takes us to Bias tugel for the second dive. After this second dive, a 15 min boat ride takes you to Nusa Lembongan where Bali's coastline stretches out before you. Keep your eyes open for flying fish, squid or dolphins.

Arrival at Nusa Lembongan is at approximately 3pm. Check in, rest or walk along the white sandy beaches. Dine at the hotel or take an evening stroll, or try one of many other restaurants and cafés in the area.

Day Five - Diving Nusa Penida:
Pick up at your hotel lobby is at 08.00 am for the Nusa Penida diving. The boat journey takes approximately 10 minutes. Once at Nusa Penida, your guide will choose sites where the conditions are good, based on your experience and interests. All the sites are drift dives and are mainly steep slopes and walls offering great diversity in both topography and in the marine life you are likely to encounter.

Lunch is on board, so please let us know if you are a vegetarian or require a special diet prior to commencing the tour. All special meal requirements will be tailored to as well as possible.

After 2 boat dives at Nusa Penida, we will travel onwards to Nusa Lembongan island to enjoy all the beauty this beach has to offer. We will then transfer you back to Turtle island - south Bali, where our PRO DIVE Bali bus will transport you back to your hotel.

Day Six - Land-Tours:
You last full day in Bali!
Choosing from the amazing array of options is difficult. You could go whitewater rafting; lie on the beach or by the pool, have a surfing lesson or shop for paintings, jewelry, woodcarvings, silver, musical instruments, batik and clothing.

Alternatively, half-day or full-day land tours are available and a myriad of indulgent spa treatments.
You may find that your last day is an important day for ceremonies - there are good and bad days for the different ceremonies in Bali - a unique end to your holiday in Bali.

Day Seven - Departure:
Take your time over your tropical breakfast, have a stroll along the beach or buy the things you've been tempted by. Check out of your hotel, board the PRO DIVE Bali bus and allow our professional drivers to transfer you safely to Bali's international airport.
